(March 2019, China) Mr. Chen Xizhen, Director of Southeast Asia and Greater China, United States Hardwood Export Committee, announced that the 24th Annual Conference of Southeast Asia and Greater China of the United States Hardwood Export Committee would be held at Westin Hotel, Ningbo, China, from June 20 to June 21, 2019. More than 300 plank traders, importers and wholesalers, as well as 50 Chinese architects, interior design studios, contractors and members of American hardwood exporters are expected to gather in Ningbo for the annual meeting.

       The two-day annual meeting will be an excellent platform and forum for exchanging information on the American hardwood market, including a small trade exhibition on 21 June and a market seminar on 20 June, at which about 30 to 40 member companies of the American Hardwood Export Board will be invited to participate in regional market discussions. At the same time, many overseas experts will give keynote speeches at the annual meeting, including "Wood and Environment", "A Survey of the Current Situation of American Broad-leaved Wood Export to China", "Sustainable Development of American Broad-leaved Wood Resources", "Sustainable Application of American Broad-leaved Wood in Interior Design and Architecture", "New Technology and Design Potential of American Broad-leaved Wood", including Heat Treatment and Intersection Laminated Wood Technology and "Introduction to Classification and Application of American Broad-leaved Wood".
