According to customs statistics, in the first seven months of this year, the total import and export value of China's goods trade was 17.41 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.2% over the same period last year. Among them, exports were 9.48 trillion yuan, up 6.7%; imports were 7.93 trillion yuan, up 1.3%; trade surplus was 1.55 trillion yuan, up 47.4%.

In July, China’s total import and export value was 2.74 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.7%. Among them, exports were 1.53 trillion yuan, up 10.3%; imports were 1.21 trillion yuan, up 0.4%; trade surplus was 310.26 billion yuan, an increase of 79%. Among them, the cumulative export value of furniture and its components from January to July was 210.31 billion yuan, up 8.8% year-on-year; the export value in July was 30.92 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.5% from the previous month.
